Gravity: Theories

ld never come back down to the Earth. (i¿½Gravity Definition Pagei¿½, n. d.)
Newtoni¿½s physics is focused on two basic concepts: mass as well as force. In the Principia Newton identifies the properties of various kinds of force. The most significant of these relates to the forces which create accelerations or variations in the level of motion or relating to rest in bodies. Newton further divides these into 3 principal groups: effect or percussion, pressure, as also centripetal force. Further in the Principia, Newton states other kinds of forces, inclusive of the forces wherein fluids prevent motions via them. Of a varied kind is Newtoni¿½s i¿½force of inertia,i¿½ which is not either an accelerative force or that of a static force and is not, accurately speaking within the background of dynamics, a force at all. (Cohen; Smith, 2002)
It must be remembered that Sir Isaac Newton theorized that material objects pull upon one another with a force that would enhance with the mass of these objects; Albert Einstein stated that it was the basic structure of space that must be considered responsible for gravity. He also felt , in his i¿½Evolution of physicsi¿½, that i¿½We could regard matter of the regions in space where the field is extremely strongi¿½there would be no place in our new physics for both field and matter, field being the only realityi¿½. (i¿½Gravity and Spacei¿½, n. d.) This theory was able to give a layman a glimpse and an understanding into why gravity did what it did, and why gravity seemed to have an impact on universal matter. Einstein described gravity as a force that would function at a distance, and would tend to make the attraction of bodies of matter to closer together. However, one must also note that Einstein formulated a completely
