In addition, this particular church was extremely large; but even the immense size of the building was not sufficient to house all of the worshipers; there were shuttle buses running to the youth services and older Bible school groups. The relative starkness on the outside of the church continued on the inside of the building. Unlike the Catholic church, the Baptist church did not feature stained glass. In addition, there were no paintings on the walls. Instead, they were decorated in a very practical manner. One of the walls featured a bulletin board with church announcements. Another wall featured smaller bulletin boards, featuring the artwork of children in bible school classes. One wall was dominated by a crucifix, which did not feature Jesus on it.
