             Specific to IT PRM is the development of a timeline that reasonably assesses the completion of certain tasks associated with an IT project, as well as reasonable assessment of the feasibility of benefits offered to the organization from an IT project. IT must work closely with the user to determine the desires for information and how they can access the end information ,as well as support problems and foresee risk once a program is live, or online.              Nearly any aspect of any project can be accessed using the central information provide by IT and therefore interventions can be achieved, where they are needed and many problems can be averted. Project risk management is therefore defined as the analysis of project data for the purpose of averting and containing risk associated with the development and production of any given project. Project risk management associated directly with Information Technology projects is the development of a system that analyses the projection and completion data of an IT project and assess the likelihood of completing tasks on a timeline and making IT projects provide stated and needed benefits. User understanding of the steps necessary for the successful development of any given IT project may be limited, and it is therefore the responsibility of the IT team to get as much information as possible regarding the expectations of the end product to avert risk in the future.
