             Scientists claim to have massive amounts of evidence that prove biological evolution and that suggest all life forms, including humans, evolved from earlier species, and that all still living species of organisms continue to evolve today. Many people have difficulty in accepting evolution because of its contradictions with their fundamental religious beliefs. Biological scientists, however, accept that primordial life on earth began as a result of chance natural occurrences 3.5-4 billion years ago. How can one believe that a complex universe just appeared from nothing or by chance? People would much rather believe that living creatures evolved by natural means after the origin of the first life than to believe in the existence of God? Who do they suppose that first life or being was? The answer is that it could only be the divine creator which is God. The basic principle of evolutionary science is that the first living cell came about as very complex chemicals and further evolved without the help of a living creator. Biogenesis is the scientific principle that life only comes from life. It proposes that spontaneous generation does not just happen; instead, every living thing has come from some other living thing. The notion that life developed from non-life without a divine creator was once called spontaneous generation. "If life indeed started without the help of miracles, the first organisms must have been made of materials that were easily available (Fry, 2000)." That is just like saying that you can make a copper penny out of copper but yet there is no copper available. Where did the cells come from to create life? Since scientists believe there is no proof that God existed at the beginning, the assumption is that the cells just evolved from nothing.
