maurice Clarett

Should Maurice Clarett be able to enter the draft? On Thursday the Supreme Court ruled that he is not able to enter. The NFL has a rule that says you have to be out of high school for three years in order to be eligible for the draft. It doesn't matter how old you are just as long as you have been out of high school.
Maurice Clarett went to Ohio State on a football scholarship knowing that he was supposed to finish out his four years with the college. I am a very ethical person and I believe that if you say you are going to do something then you should stick to your word. If Clarett went to the NFL then he would make thousands of dollars. What he would have been able to do then is "pay off" Ohio State his last three years. If he would have given the school the tuition for the room and board, I don't think the school would have missed one less student. If anything the school might have been glad because now they can use his scholarship on someone else.
Many people try to get in the NFL but only a few select people make it. It is every football players dream to make it to the NFL. If they had let him enter then what would they have lost? Nothing, Clarett might have learned that even though he was a star running back in college he wasn't good enough to make it in the big time.
