Bennet family look good, Mrs. Bennet makes a fool of herself. Mrs. Bennet even goes as far as to send her daughter off to the Bingley's in the pouring rain. She says, "No, my dear, you had better go on horseback, because it's seems likely to rain; and then you must stay all night" (Austen 25).When Mrs. Bennet visits the Bingley house to visit a sick Jane, she uses her time to convince Mr. Bingley to stay in Netherfield. At one point, Mr. Darcy says he believes he could be happy living in the country forever. When he asks Darcy what he thinks about this, Darcy says he thinks the country id boring. Disheartened by this, Mrs. Bennet exclaims, "Confined and unvarying? Indeed, it is not, sir! The country is a vast deal pleasanter than town, whatever you may say about it!" Of course, Mrs. Bennet wants the Bingley family to look upon her own as a family that only has the best.
