In addition, the increase of the background music symbolizes that something terrible has happened. Sounds are used differently to build up tension or can also use to calm down the attention of the audiences an example was given about sound in the cinema, especially a Hollywood blockbuster, how the opening music tries to wake us up, get our attentions and to pin us to our seat with cheer volume.(Branston, 1995)
             The props used in this scene all uncover the truth into why he required these items from his friend earlier in the movie. The rocks the warden picks up were a distraction from the escape tunnel he was digging. The poster was a distraction from the hidden truth, the tunnel. The tunnel represents a transition period from one phase of his life to the next, a symbol of his freedom. This corresponds to Vladamir Propp, a Russian critic and folklorist whose influential book on the narrative theory that the hero who seeks something, usually motivated by an initial lack of something.The villain (opposes the hero), the donor provides an object with some magic property and the dispatcher sends the hero on his way (STAFFORD, 1928).
