old male and a forty nine year old female in the adulthood developmental stage. Financial goals were common for both of the adults. However, the forty nine year old's number goal for the future was to be physically sound followed by being financially sound. The forty nine year old was most proud of her marriage, family, and personal characteristics. However, the thirty seven year old that I interviewed did not have children and was not most proud of his marriage or family. Conversely, the thirty seven year old was proud of his personal attributes. The thirty seven year old said he had no current fear but his worries have significantly changed and increased over the past five years. The forty nine year old said that her fears of not being able to keep her children safe have subsided as they have grown older and more responsible; however now she fears that she will not be able to care for herself in the future and to become a burden to her children. These answers are similar in the fact that their worries and fears have changed during adulthood.
