             Other environments focused on learning and education can also benefit from continued education in differentiated instruction. For example Klingberg Family Centers, a non-profit organization which caters to children with behavioral, emotional and developmental disorders, requires all of their staff, not just direct care staff to participate in professional development workshops which are focused on meeting the needs of children in a group who carry a wide variety of disorders and developmental levels. One of the most effective solutions to facing the challenges of differentiated instruction is continued education for teachers. Throughout the year, many areas of the country feature workshops and continuing education opportunities focused specifically on differentiated instruction. One newspaper article provided a description of one such workshop and stated, "the events, which are sponsored in part by SMART Technologies, are among the largest professional gatherings of educators in the country. These rigorous, multi-day, multi-track events bring the nation's leading education experts together and feature nearly 600 sessions."              While not everyone is able to attend such workshops, it's important to be aware that there are other resources available to teachers which can be helpful to expanding knowledge of differentiated instruction. One strategy for helping teachers increase their understanding of differentiated instruction is to provide other materials for learning. There are several books available to teachers which provide information on how to best implement differentiated instruction, one article reviewed a book on differentiated instruction and stated, "this book provides middle school c...
