Obesity continues to rank No. 1 on the list of nutrition-related problems in American society (Herman, "Information on Nutrition Problems in Public Health"). My personal battle with nutrition and being overweight began in seventh grade middle school. My parents brought it to my attention and took me to a pediatrician.
