e is for His kingdom to come and His will to be done in this culture. Many times we forget the already laid out plans of the Lord. Dr. Larry Lea puts it this way, "We want God's priorities to become established in our lives, but so often the tail wags the dog.' Someone has called it the tyranny of the urgent,' meaning we allow many things that cause us anxiety and trouble to crowd out the important things, things that should be given top priority."7 It is the same thing that we as ministers do all the time and when you are going to create a strategy to start a cross-cultural church plant it is easy to get caught up in all the details and leave out the one whom truly has the original strategy to begin with. Prayer and getting into the heart of God has to be our top priority and the number one strategy to begin the process of putting together the cross-cultural church plant.
