             The church bells are ringing, the sun is shining and love can be felt in the air.
             This marriage will be like any other. The united have their parents and families affirming
             their support with joyous smiles. There are beautiful flowers all around accompanied by
             the soothing sounds of a graceful chorus. But what differentiates this marriage from most
             "regular" marriages is that the engaged will be pronounced, "husband and husband."
             Although many consider homosexual marriage wrong and unethical, they fail to realize
             that homosexuals are also Americans who have the freedom to choose and do what they
             In general, those who are against homosexual marriage also think that gay
             relationships are immoral. These people usually have a healthy religious background and
             their feelings stem from what they read in the bible. The bible does touch on this subject,
             stating that homosexuals are looked upon as blasphemous in the eyes of God. The
             problem with this argument is that the U.S. government specifically explains that
             Religious law shall not interfere with American law. With that said, using any religious
             points would be nullified by the Constitution.
             Another argument is that of marriage being an institution between one man and
             one woman. This argument is the point that is most argued. Though laws were written in
             relation to this, who really has the right to define marriage? To deny these persons the
             right to marry simply because of their sexual preference is merely prejudice. Unless a
             more concrete reason for the denial is show then those who feel this way are being
             hypocrites to the basic fundamentals of American Human Rights.
