ol. She would be by most standards be considered slightly above average, she was well liked by the teachers and staff, she had a good reputation around school by supporting the school and its causes, and finally she had a strong network of friends.
             Towards the end of the spring break of 2011, she received a phone call from a blocked number, at first she was not going to answer, however her curiosity got the best of her. At the other end of the line was a girl trying to disguise her voice, this person said some extreme obscenities over the phone and told her that on the first day back from school, she was going to beat the living daylights out of her. The person finally hung up, our daughter's initial reaction was "this must be some kind of a joke," she could not think of anyone who would like to fight her. As the week went on, the call continued to harass her to the point, she decided to try to find out who was hiding behind the blocked number. After doing some research, to her surprise, she found out whom it was. It was a fellow senior at the school, they knew each other, but did not consider this person to be a friend.
             As the first day back from spring break came, our daughter decided to seek out this person at school and to ask why she wanted to fight. The girl stated she heard from someone that our daughter had said something about her, and now she was going to make her pay for it. The fight never took place, but in the weeks to follow, our daughter's grades who were a B student prior to this mess came crashing down to just higher than a D, she also lost over 20 pounds and her once outgoing personality had gone away. The bully in this situation went about and gathered a selection of girls that were all friends of hers, and went out to verbally harass our daughter both at school as well as on Facebook.
