All freedmen and black people got contracts for lawful home and employments, but they had to keep written proof of the contract. On the other hand, state of Mississippi denied to add black people and freedmen into army and black were not even allow to have any think like gun or knifes with them.
             All of the restrictions show us that white government wanted to keep all black people and freemen as slaves. That's why they gave them very low wages and applied so many restrictions on them. As compare to blacks, whites did not have any restrictions.
