ege. Having my driver's license opened up the door to adulthood thus showing me the consequences of my actions. Growing up, my mom has always been busy at work because she owns a hair salon. However, that hasn't stopped her from being there when I've needed her the most. She has been supportive of me all my life and has definitely made up for the times she couldn't be there for me. I remember when she would accompany me to school field trips and drop off McDonald's for lunch in elementary school.
             The reason I was named the fortunate son is because I was born into a financially established household, something that my two older brother's didn't get the opportunity to have until they reached eight and fourteen years of age. My mother was capable of being there when she raised my two older brothers in a time when my dad was the only one bringing home the bread. Unfortunately, she sacrificed me growing up but always made it up by providing a nicer lifestyle. If it's one thing my mom has taught me about life, it is that providing a better standard of living for your family, has significantly positive results in the long run.
