There's a memory from my early childhood that will stay in my mind forever. As a seven year old child, an experience brought me closer to one of my sisters. I saw my sister Pamela almost fall from the top of the roof, while I was unable to prevent it. Although she was rescued, I learned to be more cautious while playing, and on my everyday life.
             It was a typical Wednesday afternoon, and my sisters and I were playing on the back yard of the house. My dad had decided to add an extra room on top of the house. He hired workers that we had around for a few weeks. . We were excited because that day they had left many of their tools behind, including a ladder that lead to the roof. When we were playing outside, Cynthia, my older sister, thought that it would fun if we went up the ladder to the top of the roof, and play up there. We decided that Cynthia would go first, and then, once up there, she was going to help my sister Pamela up. I was last because I was the youngest, and the most afraid of heights.
             Once we got to the top, we started to play with a ball throwing it at each other. We did not want to be loud, or move around too much, afraid that my mom would hear our steps or laughs inside the house. After we had been there for a while, I was chosen to guard one side of the roof, on top of the door, to make sure that my mom would not find out where we were in case she came outside. If she was to come out I had to signal my sisters quickly by waving my arm and throwing small rocks at them
             We had a dome on one side of the house which was made out of glass fiber. It was not obvious to us back then that it could not possibly support the weight of a human being without breaking, so my sister Pamela decided to jump on top of it.
