It takes understanding this concept for all of us to be considerate and get the job done on time. Our group's members are all extremely busy individuals, however, we realize that "Everyone has the same twenty-four hours" (Thinking and Learning in the Workplace, pg 119). Time is precious to each of us, yet, we have made the commitment to school-thus committing ourselves to whatever the class calls for.
             Taking classes for the convenience of time may have been a major factor in deciding to go the degree in this manner. This considered, it may be and has been difficult for the team to, compromise on a common meeting time. It is up to us to keep our commitment to the team, and to contribute our portions of the work. Other teams may have the opportunity to meet outside of the time we are "in class", and IM one another. If this works for your team- go with it. Whatever works for your team, you should go with instead of against. Remember, in the Learning Team Toolkit, it reads, "Students will be given the opportunity to evaluate the contributions of each team member to the accomplishment of team goals" (pg 2).
             Due dates are always a stressful time...if you procrastinate. . "Time management involves building a schedule, taking responsibility for how you spend your time, and being flexible" If students can build a good enough schedule for themselves, then time will not seem wasted on frantically working at the last minute. We are adults and can all take the responsibility for how we spend our time.
