"The definition of a Hero."
             Heroes are an output of a society's understanding of someone: a person, who needs to be praised and cherished without say. The definition of a hero is dependent on society's beliefs, laws, and taboos. There are heroes for all ages and for both men and women. Heroes have had changing roles since man wrote his story, and all have been the idealization of each society, each civilization's absolute.
             The qualities that molds a hero can be measured through their sacrifice; the loss of something highly valued for the sake of one considered having a greater value or claim, followed by: determination, loyalty, courage, dedication, selfless, bravery and many others. Our beloved Mother Teresa, or Terry fox has made their marks in our world, and they are and were normal human beings just like any normal people. It can be anyone with an altruistic attitude. The true saint lives in the midst of other people. He rises in the morning; he eats and sleeps when needed. He buys and sells in the marketplace just like everyone else. He marries, has children, and meets with his friends. It could be any of us if we possess the qualities that make a hero.
             Nevertheless, their many noteworthy qualities, all heroes possess faults because they are human and all humans possess failings, because heroes begin to fold and make mistakes as they are suddenly thrust into the inspired limelight. Failings in heroes are only natural, they are human and all humans possess faults. All human beings are born and die with character traits, which can be, at the most basic level, perceived as being helpful or as being harmful, depending on the character's viewpoint.
             Heroes are our explanation of someone perfect; one who is living the life of the righteous. Every individual in our known world has a different definition of a hero, and it is only through that personal consciousness and recognition that a true her
