Managing diversity

             When writing about a certain topic, the first thing to do is research how you will gather all of the information needed. In this fast growing technological age, we have plenty of options to choose from. Since continuing our Graduate Degree at the University of Phoenix, we thought we should utilize the resources available to us and search through the library. Having the information come from a University library led us all to believe that they would be from credible sources. After searching by database (business), we found an extensive amount of information available to use. We carefully browsed through the first twenty or so articles and finally chose the ones that had the most pertinent information.
             Along the same lines, we thought searching through the Internet might yield additional information. The search engine that was used was Dog Pile because it gives you the results from several different engines. From this, we found three different sites that had very thought-provoking information. The credibility of these sites were not questioned because one belongs to a professional organization, the other to a company that specializes in developing training material for businesses, and the last from a course on diversity held at an accredited University. We are very pleased with the information gathered by our research techniques and have the peace of mind knowing that our information is all credible.
             Most workplaces today are becoming increasingly diverse as people of different genders, races, cultures, ethnic origins, and lifestyles find themselves working together.
