r instance, if one looks into an ordinary household only, one will find enough appliances that have made life so much easier. The quantum of time and effort that was required in earlier days is now done in a jiffy with the help of those machines. What I am trying to drive at is that now an individual has more time at one's disposal to engage in a more constructive and fruitful work. It must be understood that the progress in wider facets is possible only when the infrastructure to support basic activities is in place. There is all the reason and more why we should be happy about all that we have in terms of knowledge and possessions.
             Mr. B – well, in my opinion comfort is a very relative term. Just like personal vehicle was a luxury in the last generation, it is more of a necessity today. We feel often that we need to be grateful about the variety/ options in our material possessions that we have today, because we cannot imagine a situation without these aids being there. I also feel that the whole issue is quite relative because comfort for each generation is likely to have a different meaning. I am sure the people who did not know that something like a television could be made possible to serve the purpose of entertaining, would miss it. Or that women would sit cursing the amount of time it took to mill flour in the absence of an electric milling machine.
