Animal experimentation is wrong. According to the philosopher Spinoza, animals's lives are just as important to them as ours are to us. Testing on animals for the purpose of making humans lives better is wrong. it's also unnecessary and lacks accuracy. Animals feel pain while they are locked up in small lab cages and as a result they suffer unnecessarily. If animals are sick before they are experimented on then the results will be wrong.
             Some animals that are used inexperiments are taken from animal shelters, and sometimes experimenters can't tell if they're sick before they start the experiment. If the animal had heartworm or some other kind of disease, then the results might not be accurate. So what happens if someone uses a medication that was developed from a wrong experiment? They could die, and it all could have been avoided by just not using animals in experiments.
             Some other ways to test products and learn about the body are to watch videos, look through microscopes, experiment on tissue grown in lab dishes and observe real life surgery on humans. If products or medicines need to be tested, instead of using animals for experiments, we could just use humans like prisoners or other people who could agree to be experimented on. This way the results would be more accurate because human medicines would be tested on humans instead of on rabbits or other animals where the results might not be the same. Like the polio vaccine, where the inventor said his results were delayed because he had to test the vaccine on monkeys and it didn't work the same as on humans. So if he could of tested on humans, it would have saved time, therefore, it would of saved a lot more lives.
             In conclusion, animal experimentation is wrong. For all the reasons just given, it would be better and smarter and faster, not to mention more humane to test human medicines and products on humans or on tissue grown in the lab then to test it on anima...
