             Why do we bring heroes from our past? Well that's easy I believe that this are legends or myths but this are stories that have been past on from or ant sisters and we would like to keep those memories fresh. That brings me to a good story of and old hero that wanted to live on forever but found out how precious life is and this guys name is Gilgamesh and this is the story that the modern world and I could relate to the facts of life and the meaning.
             This story had many quotes that made me think a lot of life and myself. And it goes something like this and I quote myself "Now that I have toiled and strayed so far over the wilderness, am I to sleep, and let the earth cover my head for ever? Let my eyes see the sun until they are dazzled with looking. Although I am no better than a dead man, still let me see the light of the sun." I think that in my own words that would mean that even though he feels like he might be blinded, confused or plain simply just ignoring the facts (truth). Now he's realizing that and he wants to change. But then again he must feel as if he's trying to blind the truth, that part "lets the earth cover my head" just like the ostrich sort of, because he wants to avoid the problems and to ignore everyone, so the only thing he wants to be is blinded by the sun so he also won't see the truth. But now he realize all the stuff that is happening when he just turns his back so now he wants to see the truth (facts) and who knows probably a change of life or a chance at a whole new start at life. I could defiantly relate to his quote because I know how it is that sometimes people want to tell you the truth or show you the truth, but you are so blinded by the light that you don't know what is going on or when you have problems or theirs problems all around you.
