The Director is responsible for the overall operations in the department. His primary concern is making sure there are no problems within the department. The Manger is responsible for the quality and deployment of reports on the network.
             Both teams are formal organizations recognized by the functions they perform within the corporation. Team A is a management team that focuses on the monthly accountability of the department. Team B is a self-managed team that is focused on the daily operation of the computer network. While both teams have similar structure with a Director providing overall accountability, Team B has more of a formal daily accountability with very visible and measurable results. Team A is measured on the fiscal success of the department.
             Time Management is a critical part of any team's success. Team A uses a formal agenda for each monthly meeting. The topics are discussed as part of the end of each meeting and a formal agenda is distributed in advance of the next month's meeting. Feedback is optional in advance of the meeting if any member would like to add to, subtract from, or change the agenda in advance of the meeting. Once the meeting starts, the agenda is used as a measurement tools to determine if the appropriate pace is being realized and if there is enough time available to discuss all important topics during the two-day meeting.
