Grade inflation is such a big issue in today's colleges. The article "Where All Grades Are Above Average"was written by Stuart Rojstaczer who is a professor at Duke University. Grade inflation is affecting our society because students are not going to class and many students don't participate because they know that they will pass the class.
             Stuart Rojstaczer who is a professor only gave grades that ranged from A's, B's and no C's. Grade inflation is so popular in college that C's now, make up very low percentage of all grades. Stuart believes that C was satisfactory in 1969 but now is very unsatisfactory. Because of grade inflation, rates of grade point averages are rising at a fast rate. Rojstaczer believes if this rate keeps increasing all the students in colleges will be getting all A's on their transcript.
             Rojstacjer believes that if he does inflate the graded in his classes, his class enrollment would drop. Students' might think that he is not a good professor and this might drop his popularity rate.
             Moreover that students want high graded their parents want them too. Grading of students can make a huge difference in their future success. Grade inflation can be to our benefit because the GPA would look good in the student's transcript. On the other hand, it can be bad because in future students might not have the knowledge that is needed for their career. Future success of these students is affected by the grades that they achieve.
