When purchasing a new computer, the first thing I would determine will be how the computer system I will buy was going to be used. I would use the computer for my personal productivity and have the XP Home Edition operating system. I will regularly use my computer for a lot of things. For example I will use the computer for my Educational studies, Web-based research, Word processing, Web development, Entertainment, and News. I can also use my computer for downloading music, movies, and etc. For business, I would get a computer that is much better then the computer I use at home. For business purposes I will be needing a computer that's more reliable, faster, and has big storage capacity. The distinction that can make on potential usage on hardware choices can be memory, hard drives, different software's.
             4) When I visited a computer website for mice, there were two different kinds of mice: Optical and Laser mice. I saw many new mice. The first one I saw was the wireless mouse. Some of the wireless mouse were really small and some were the regular size and in different colors to choose from. I also saw the optical wheel mouse in different color and different size. I also saw the wireless presentation remote PowerPoint laser pointer. The advantages of the new mice can be many more functions, sizes, colors, shapes, and uncomplicated. The disadvantages can be many of the new mice can stop working, can be difficult for people to use the people knows little about computers, and many new mice won't operate with old computers.
