To work or Not to Work

             Everyone has made difficult decisions in their lives. My time came one day during the summer when I was faced with a decision-a difficult one. I was a retail sales representative at T-Mobile making a very nice sizable income, especially suitable for those at my age. Every two weeks I'm bringing in about $750 after taken out. Not including a commission check which depends on the amount of contracts and equipment I have sold from the prior month. I couldn't have asked for more in my job until the inevitable happened, the school year was very getting close. And I was left with one question-to work or not to work?
             I still remember the day my mother called my cell phone as I was aiding a customer install the battery for her Samsung E-715. It was a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon, I never seen White Flint mall so crowded and animated. It almost looked like an army of ants crowded near a mountain of sugar. However, I couldn't complain, it brought more traffic into our T-Mobile store, thus allowing more potential sales. As I was putting the battery on for my customer my belt vibrated. I reached over to my waist, clipped off my phone, flipped it open and answered. Before my mother even asked the dreaded question I already knew. "Have you signed up for your classes yet?" So, as I answered the phone I quickly told my mother before she had the chance to speak, "Mom, I have to call you back, I'm busy with a customer". About an hour after she called I helped about a half a dozen customers with their phones, plans, and other related problems. It was after I ate lunch at P.F. Chang's around 3 o'clock that I finally decided to call my mother back. As soon as I called my mother she quickly answered, "Have you signed up for your classes yet?"
             I replied "No, not yet, and I'm not sure if I really want to."
