Getting married is a serious commitment, one that shouldn't be taken for granted. When people rush into a marriage, then this can lead to problems in their married life that could eventually lead to a person wanting a divorce. But is a divorce a sin? When you take vows and it says "till death do you part," and you say I do, are you committed to this by God? the law? or your own morals? There are many different views which come into play on the topic of divorce and can get complicated with every view.
The topic of a divorce can come up in a marriage, with one or both wanting a divorce. But is this a sin? A divorce is allowed by law, so many will take this route if the marriage is not working out. For some a divorce is a great sin to be chosen to do knowingly. Because when you took your vows and said that you would be together till death do you part it would be a sin in God's eyes if you take this path. But God is all forgiving and one might take this path and then just ask for God's forgiveness. But for a person with strong morals, they will hate getting a divorce and go to all lengths to avoid it.

For one who is maybe getting involved in remarriage, I believe that they will have no moral obligations against this because they have already been divorced. That is just my thinking. But for these people, they might think that this is another sin because they have made a promise to the ex-wife.
