Stories have been told throughout the ages. There have been various forms and means in which stories have been accounted. There early ages of man would recount stories orally or use primitive illustration on raw rock to depict there adventures, as time progressed, the means of story telling and its contents advanced. By means of human evolution man acquired the skills needed to develop and understand a vast amount of characters inscribed on diverse types of materials. These charters soon developed into words and sentences that form the basis of modern mans means of communication. In achieving this man allows himself the advantage to record his feelings and emotion, by this means to free or to understand his emotions.
             Poetry is magnificent evenly balanced between sincere simplicity and high flown rhetoric. The same effortless balance extends to the subject material, which bridges and personifies emotions. The Renaissance poet Michael Drayton used his skill of writing poetry to enlighten us of his story of love, passion and determination. With the use of figures of speech in his poem he created an image of love, personified faith and generates a feeling of longing to experience majestic love.
             This poem is about love. A couple who are in love with one another, yet who are on the verge of ending there relationship for the reason that they do not believe it is working. In spite of everything their physical attraction regarding one another is still there. "Since there's no help, come, let us kiss and part" (line 1). He is finished with the relationship and wants no more to do with her, it initially seems. "That thus so cleanly I myself can free"(line4). He has ended the relationship and cleans himself of her ready for a unmarked start at a new life with new lovers in the future. Line two of the poem initiates this idea.
