What does the novel deal with? Why did the author write the book?
             The novel deals with the result of a war, a nuclear war. It deals with the survivors of a nuclear war caused by a little country, and it shows us how easy it is to a chaos to begin. The author writes the book in order to show us all that. He wants to tell us how a nuclear war is so latent in our society today. He wants us to know how vulnerable we are, and how the world could end in a little mistake.

             The nuclear power is a very dangerous and strong power. The nuclear weapon is the most destruct full weapon there is in the world because it could destroy a entire country (depending on its size) and the other characteristic is not its big blast and explosion that it makes. The radiation is the other problem, the radiation produced by this atomic bombs, could kill an entire continent or the neighbor countries of the one affected. And this last characteristic is very important because many countries that had nothing to do with the problem between the two countries in war would suffer from nuclear fallout without having anything to do. Many innocent people would die of something they didn't have to do with. Another big danger are the health issues, the radiation produced by the nuclear weapon. The human body exposed by the nuclear radiation is very dangerous. Depending of the amount of the radiation exposed, is the amount of danger in the person exposed. In the cases of the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki people who was exposed to radiation, did not surfer instantly of it. they had a "latency period" and they developed cancer 5, 10, 15 years later. Besides the blast and radiation damage from individual bombs, a large-scale nuclear exchange between nations could conceivably have a catastrophic global effect on clima
