knew someone who had a problem about getting rid of their sewage but they couldn't because their house was lower than where the sewer main was in the street. I suggested this idea to my technical teacher and he gave me theory on how this was fixed and this is what my project is going to be about.
For my graduation project, I plan on making a demonstration plans for an installation plan of an outdoor 20-gallon sewage grinder pump on a lot that resides lower than the sewer main line. To do this I will have to show layout of the house with the contours of the land, also I have to plot where the sewer main is running and how far underground it is. Next I will have to make a plan for the location of the installation of the grinder pump and a two-inch diameter PVC Pipe from the pump to the sewer main and a six-inch diameter VCP pipe from the house to the pump. The special problem being solved is how to show a problem solving method for future students on how to get sewage from a house, to go uphill to the sewer main than from there run on gravity where it is taken to the sewage treatment plant.
For my project I'm planning on using various tools, instruments and supplies that are needed to complete it. For the materials, plans and pre-project work I would need three pieces of 24x18 opaque bond paper, mechanical pencil, and mechanical eraser. The term 24x18 stands for 24 inches for the length and 18 inches for the width of the paper. According to Webster's Dictionary opaque bond paper is defined as a fine parchment that is impenetrable to light and is somewhat sturdy. The opaque bond paper is used in the shop to see thing better on the paper and it doesn 't smear that easily. According to Practical Surveying, a mechanical pencil and mechanical eraser are defined as tools that use various ways of keeping the pencil or eraser at a length, so sharpening isn't required to keep a sharp point.
