However, there have been several cases where student athletes have been excused from exams, projects, and more to play in an "important" game. The student may then leave the university with a shapely body and a good sense of discipline, but with no educational experience for the workplace. Similarly, the media demonstrates anti-drug and violence campaigns while advertising subliminal messages and scandalous real-life episodes. Overall, Cultural Creatives and Modernists have a similar dilemma with the deceptiveness of morals and ethics.
             Although these markets are viewed very differently, they are also inter-related. Traditionalists and Cultural Creatives advocate their beliefs and rights, whether it is the belief of religion or the belief of civil rights. Modernists and Cultural Creatives are very similar in that they both advocate creativity. Traditionalists and Modernists are probably the least similar. The strongest similarity between these two markets is their faith in our political system. Paul H. Ray, author of "The Emerging Culture", makes a very valid point regarding his main topic – Cultural Creatives: "The appearance of the Cultural Creatives in America is a very hopeful thing for our society, for it offers a chance to create a more positive new culture." Not only are they a positive culture, but also an intelligent culture. This group is far more likely than Modernists or Traditionalists to have graduated from college. Cultural Creatives are also ecologically sustained, eager to re-build neighborhoods and communities. They are "globalists;" favoring diversity.
