Of the three Abrahamic faiths, Judaism is the oldest faith from which the remaining two take root. Judaism, in its present day modern manifestation, recognizes the prophet Abraham as its ruler and founder, although it is clear that Abraham is but a mere descendant of a long line of prophets before and after that have preached the message of Judaism. Like all religions, Judaism is rich with cultural and ethnical celebrations and a full and vibrant heritage. It has been practiced in its current present form for many centuries, and has been through even a greater number of manifestations that, because of historical events and happenings, has had a strong influence on not just its adherents, but on many people who came in contact with those belonging to this great faith. Throughout its long and often sufferable development, Judaism as a religion has proven to remain intact.
