Evolution and Science

Evolution has been knocked down for centuries, because of formal religion. Creationists won't concede that evolution has been an on-going process, because it contradicts the Bible. There are many who believe both sides of the argument; that is God did create the heavens and earth, and evolution has been an on-going process. Despite the mounting evidence supporting evolution, people who strictly believe that an all powerful God created everything and won't except Evolution has happened, can not really be credited, because they don't care what science has brought to light. The truth about human evolution is real and is backed up by scientific evidence and facts such as: geological evidence, plants, and evidence of animals adapting to their surroundings.
When studying the "Theory of Evolution," Darwin is the first thought that comes to mind, because he was the founder of evolutionary theory. The formal definition of evolution is a concept that embodies the belief that existing animals and plants developed by a process of gradual, continuous change from previously existing forms. In 1859, the first edition of Darwin's Origin of Species emerged. The influence of his evolutionary theory upon scientific thought and experimentation cannot be overlooked (Rusty, 13092). The Evolutionary theory was not credited at the time because some religious creeds declared it contrary with their basic system of belief. For a time evolution was falsely interpreted as meaning human descent from monkeys rather than descent from ancient and extinct ancestors and that is why it became a target for attack by both church and educational authorities. Now there have been many studies on each side of the argument, proving each side to be true.
There are many possible explanations that geological processes guided evolution, such as: drifting of the continents, volcanoes, and ice ages. Scientists agree that contrary to some inte...
