There are not as many opportunities for Disney World which is outnumbered by the threats the company is currently facing. Disney World is a huge corporation and is respected around the globe with its effectiveness to please the customers. Some of the opportunities include positive government attitudes towards operations. If Disney World wants to go open resorts in new places where it has not yet opened, it will get some positive influence from the government. Not only will they not have problems opening up what they like, they might also get some aid if the government can afford it. For example, the French government gave Disney World 1.2 Billion dollars to assist the company with communication facilities. The reason that governments will not mind the presence of Disney World is because it will attract a lot of tourists to the country or state which in turn help the country or state make profit for itself. For example, most people go to Disney World for vacations and usually when people go on vacations, they spend a lot of money. Not only will these tourists spend a lot of money at Disney World but also on what the state or country has to offer. Even in the United States today, tourism is a big cash cow for the US economy.
             Another opportunity for Disney World is that there are no barriers of entry. Disney World has spent a lot of years and time to make its name appreciated through out the world. No other company can just come in right now and have the same respect as Disney World does today. If somebody compares Disney World and what it has to offer to a similar company, it will be a no brainer to say that Disney World is better than the competitor. It is the number one vacation destination for families and friends throughout the United States.
