A watch measures the exactness of time. Or does it? Do the intricate
set of devices in a watch actually assess time perfectly? It is difficult to fathom
how this miniscule creation could properly perform this task. Furthermore, it is
even more difficult to understand the different perceptions of time.
Most people regard time as perfectly measured . However, how can we
be sure of this? There don't seem to be any means for people to have the
ability to positively state that our notion of time is unquestionably accurate. Most
people have their own conception of the passing of time.
The human mind takes the concept of time and personalizes it. A
person's attitude in any given situation determines their perception of time. For
example, if a person were to get stuck in traffic for two hours, the two hours that
were spent waiting for the traffic to start moving would probably seem to pass
much more slowly than, in comparison, two hours spent at the beach or
watching a movie. The hands of a watch can seem to fly around it's face
sometimes, while other times they inch with almost a heaviness as the moments

fast-paced and very closely timed. People have entire schedules planned down
to the minute so that they don't lose track of the time they have in each day.
They are very rushed. A reason for this could be the huge impact money has on
our country in business. Losing time means losing money. This way, people,
with the strict handle they are allowed to have on time, can create their own
