A close examination of the buried pottery discovered in land excavations has revealed a lot of about the inhabitants of various regions from thousands of years ago, same is true about the current trash being discarded by the residents in the United States. A careful investigation of trash reveals a lot about the current inhabitants as well. Residents in the United States during the past 50 years or so have become a throw away society. This has resulted in garbage dumps being filled at a more rapid rate than planned. A close examination reveals that items that would have been considered reusable 50 years ago such as plastic knives, forks, spoons, bottles, cans, clothing etc are being discarded by the current inhabitants are contributing to the landfills being filled up and reveals a lot about the mind set about the cultural values of the people in the U.S.
             Dramas on television share certain similarities or elements. They all seem to share the following common elements or a combination of elements. 1. Presence of a hero or heroin. 2. Villain. 3. Drug use or alcohol use. 4. Sex. 5. Violence. 6. Killings, rape, arrests, law enforcement activity, courtroom drama, and jail or prison sentence, presence of blood. 7. A build up of suspense before adjourning till the next show. In short the first two elements plus some combination of breaking some of the Ten Commandments seem to be the common theme that gets the most attention.
             Part time jobs can be very unappealing due to a number of factors. First a PT job may not probably give enough money to support a family or even a single individual. Secondly job security will be absent. Thirdly a benefit package given to full time employees will not be given to a part time employee such as health care coverage or major illness coverage. Fourthly Vacation pay or Sick Leave pay may not be available to a part time employee.
