Nowadays, there are several types of leaders. There are the real leaders that only want what is best for you and will help you to do your best. This includes teachers, and coaches. Friends that are gang members and dropouts, which are bad influences, can lead to getting you into trouble. In many situations, there is always someone that you can look up to. The type of leader that you choose to follow can determine the road that you take. Leaders can have a great impact on who and what you can become.
             Leaders can help determine the road your life takes. For example, a teacher is a type of leader. Without teachers, our way of life would be a lot different. We would look to ourselves to find the answers for things, but we would not always have that extra desire to finish what we had started, and our ways would be wrong because we wouldn't know what was wrong or right. In this case, a teacher can help us want to finish our work, and try to continue to succeed in life. How does a good leader gain this type of authority and make such an impact? A Responsible and caring leader is motivation and gives off an inspiring vibe from their experiences; thus making you want to succeed in whatever you may be doing. Another type of leader can be a coach. Coaches are leaders because they help determine how well a performance is going to be. They can add a back bone to a program and help make sure that things are going smoothly. For example, over the summer, FHS drill team had no coach. We were student managed, and it was very unorganized because no one thought they needed to listen to the leaders. This ended up causing our moves to be simple, performances to be terrible, and a disappointment of our summer of events. When we finally got a coach, we went back to normal.
