Marriage

Marriage is a union between two individuals that pledge to devote their lives to one another. Should a marriage license have an expiration date like other licenses have? I believe not, marriage licenses doesn't have the need for an expiration date. Expiration dates would bring a close to many marriages. Marriage license is not an ordinary license. Marriage licenses involve the collaboration of two people as an whole. Marriage license is a license that's suppose to last an lifetime, not for a short period of time.
Expiration dates would bring many marriages to an end, because this allows the individuals to easily leave the relationship that they are involved in. When the expiration date comes, many may not want to renew the license. When the couple are engage an a argument, many may not try to solve the problem. They wouldn't try to solve the problem because they know that at a certain time that their license would be expiring and would just wait for that date to come.
Marriage licenses are not like ordinary licenses. This is an legal document that states the two individuals have become united under law. This should be a union that doesn't not have an expiration date. When people get married, its because they feel that they are in love with one another. If it was an expiration date some couples would probably question if they love one another. Just so they would make sure if they renewed their license it wouldn't be for no reason.
Its only one way I believe that a marriage license should be like other licenses. I think that marriage license should be the same by having couples take classes and tests that guarantee that they are ready for marriage. This way its possible that the couple would stay together and last for an lifetime. If the two individuals take classes and test with one other if should test there own strengths with working together, and also getting alone with one another.
