             Community colleges offer numerous benefits to all students wishing to pursue a quality college education. Community colleges receive the financial support of locals through taxes and bonds. This financial support allows the colleges to constantly improve their facilities and educational programs. Supporters of these taxes and bonds want the local graduates to succeed because this draws attention to their community. This attention can also draw in students from surrounding areas, which creates more income for the college.
             Community colleges are generally affordable for all students. Low tuition fees benefit parents who have chosen to pay for their child's education and benefit working students who live on low budget incomes; students struggling to pay tuition can easily apply for financial aid and federal grants. Low tuition, low fees, and financial aid make paying for a community college education simple for students from all walks of life.
             Another feature that simplifies pursuing an education at a community college is flexible class schedules. Many students must work while pursing higher education. By offering flexible class times, community colleges allow students to schedule classes into their current agenda. Scheduling classes around previous commitments such as jobs and family duties allows students of all ages to complete a college education.
