70's culture

             The 70's is different then anything in the world today. No one knows quite what sprung the free filling people into partying every night. Was it the rock blasting off of balcony in Hate as h Barrie? Was it the people that were the first anti-wariest, or the rebelling against the neat form of the 50'sand 60's? What ever it was, it changed the country forever, for better or worst whatever your view, it will always stand out in our history.
             The music is what the 70's was all about. In the 60's you had the Beetles,
             Chuck Barrie. Then people got tired of the suits those bands wore. So rock got its break combining the blues with other genres, it clicked. Out popped bands like: Zeppelin, The Who, Aerosimth, Hendrix, Bob Marley, kiss, and many more. At the end of the 70's there was disco, but that doesn't really count.
             Then you had to have the hair, the 8 tracks, pet rocks, and the Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon playing in the basement. The best thing to were to prom was your new brown leisure suits. When you look at the toys part of the 70's you see etch-a-sketch, hot wheels and dolls.
             I would have put this in music but to me it is the single most important thing of the decade. This event so important because, it brought everyone together, the first time race, ego, size, shape, or the part of town you grow up in didn't mater. It showed the "squares" that their was no stopping them, and it wasn't about stopping them it was the show of love for the humans. It also had the great musicians but, even to them it was about playing, just having a good time and enjoying what you have.
             There were attempts to stop the freedom in the sates, witch is an oxymoron. We sell the countries freedom to other countries, but try to stop it when people exercise that same freedom. But that wasn't the big
