Littering-It Has Got To Stop

             Littering is a tremendous problem in the United States. It is usually done out of pure laziness. It has become such an immense trend some people don't even notice when they do it. What particularly offends me is when people in my community put their trash out early, throwing garbage out of a moving vehicle, and how students trash schools. There are so many problems caused from these littering incidents, however, some people don't stop to think about them.
             For example, when people in my community put their trash out two and three days before the pick up date they see nothing wrong with it. As a result of them putting their trash out early we have stray cats coming around our neighborhood to mess thru it. They rip the bags and the trash falls out and it remains right there on the ground because the garbage men don't pit up what's not in a bag or box. Also being that it's been windy for the past couple weeks a lot of the trash has blew in various parts of our neighborhood, making our place of residence look filthy. Having trash blow all over the place can make a place look dirty. Many things could be affected in our community by this lack of control. People may be selling their homes and no one is going to move here seeing the neighborhood in this manner. And if our neighborhood looks foul then people will look at us as foul people.
             Throwing trash out of a moving vehicle can also make a place look foul. I've had some terrible past experiences with this type of littering. One time someone thru an ice cream cup (with ice cream still in it) out of the window and it splattered on our car window and a little got in the window. That is just vile to throw something of that size out of a speeding car on a hwy knowing there is ongoing and oncoming traffic. However I'm not saying throwing something small out of the window is fine either because it's absolutely not. Throwing something big or small...
