Fanny Price is like Jane Eyre in that they were both treated like an unequal. Jane Eyre's parents died and was to live with her uncle and aunt Reed. Her uncle died and stayed with her aunt and her cousins. They treated her like a servant and told her that she was not one of them. Fanny's mother sent her to live at Mansfield Park where her aunt and uncle live. Also, the compare in that they are told that they aren't "handsome" enough at the beginning but then their beauty is seen in their inner self and also out. There Mrs. Norris and Lady Bertram always "keep reminding her that she is not the equal of those that reside there". Both Fanny Price and Elizabeth Bennet are witty. They know how to defend themselves and learn to love. They are treated bad but they keep strong. Fanny is treated as an unequal by the people living in Mansfield Park except Edmon who treats her very nice and with respect. She at the end was able to stand up for herself and was able to do it without any regrets and what she said showed the people that she is not just a person to be judging wrong, she has her standards and has a great deal of knowledge; she is not left behind. Elizabeth Bennet is talked wrongly by Mr. Bingley's sister who wants to get together with Mr. Darcy. She does all her best to make Elizabeth look bad among the crowd. Elizabeth does not let herself be embarrassed and answers all with wit. She is strong and is able to defend herself without anyone consoling her. She is a strong, strong person. Catherine Ernshaw compares to Fanny Price in the sense that both are attractive girls and they love the one guy they grew up with but in the difference is that Edmond decides to marry someone else other than Fanny and Catherine marries some other guy, but end up regretting their decisions. They are both stuck in between two guys whom they decide whom to say yes to. The differences between Fanny and Jane is that...
