Fernando Pessoa

Everyday people question things about themselves over several issues. Some people thing they aren't good enough for themselves, others think they are just too good for the common people. Either way everyone on this planet analyzes themselves everyday as if a god or someone was taking notes on them. Personally I tend to fall under both of those whether sometimes I feel like yes I am better at people than this, and other times I feel like I was just not cut out for it. Fernando Pessoa however tends to talk about this in his reading The Book of Disquiet. My question about Pessoa is why did he write the way he did about "nothingness" and yet still completed several readings? He questions many issues then he goes on to state after does it really matter?
In Pessoa's writings he makes several points to bring up something to talk about for example his health. He is able to complete passages because as ironic as it might seem he does have something to talk about which ironically again is "nothing". When he brings up the issue of health he discusses is there really such a thing as good health? Or is it just going against nature's way to try and achieve good health? He discusses this issue for over a page and only comes up with the point about how achieving good health is really just irrelevant if you think about it.
One interesting reading Pessoa discusses and brings up the issue of how Pessoa said he never had any people who were close to him. He mentioned people who were
acquaintances and some relatives but that didn't make him feel like he was welcome and he was always on the outside. These are some of the reasons why Pessoa I believe chose to write, not only write but also write about nothing. If a person such as Pessoa with more of an anti-social personality has no friends I believe this will lead him to write about something like this.
