Own the lover solely and entirely by one person, without sharing him/her with any other parties. Just like a child not sharing a candy with his friends by claiming the candy is his possession. The second layer of occupying is 'to control'. Make decision on the fate and living of the lover. Like keeping a pet, diet and accommodation are assigned by the owner.
