One Saturday Night

             Have you ever experienced a feeling that you could not explain? It was my first
             year at Tyler Junior College, Homecoming, and the last game of the season to see who
             was to go to the playoffs, not to mention a rival game. The TJC and Kilgore College
             game of my freshman year is one of my best in moments because of the tradition, fan
             support, and my game winning catch.
             First, TJC and KC has a long and deep tradition. Waking up every morning
             during the week hearing the beat of the drum, because of it being homecoming just send
             chills down my spine. Every time TJC and KC play it is a pack stadium on both sides so I
             had that to look forward to. One thing about this game is that we all somehow or
             another played against or knew someone on the opposite.
             Second, it's a packed stadium with fans from both schools and communities.
             Walking out seeing the bright lights, then 10,000 fans yelling and screaming made my
             insides turn. There were a lot of my high school buddies that came down from Dallas to
             watch me in action. After every catch or big play I could hear my mother yelling for me.
             Finally, it was third down in the third overtime, and we needed to score. Coach
             called in the play and by me knowing the signals I already knew the play. It was my
             favorite play Y-corner. Knowing that it has been open all day I knew I had a chance to
             make something happen. As I came to the line I could sense that no one was on me.
             That got me real excited. Butterflies kicked in as I was waiting on the snap count. as the
             ball was snapped I was so excited I ran the route wrong. As I came off the line, I turned
             around and saw the ball in the air. Everything slowed down an all the noise came to a
             haut, an all I could hear was my heart pounding. As I caught the ball everything went
