their lives are based on lies, that is obviously wrong. For instance, in our society, if a child's parents wait until their child is twenty to tell them they are adopted, our modern society views that as wrong. The child was lied to the entire first portion of their lives. If that is wrong in our society, how can lying to everyone citizen throughout their entire lives not be an act of vice?
             Socrates never establishes foreign policy. If everyone in the society is the same, anything different or any outside beliefs will be frowned upon. Therefore, this society would never get along with any outside civilizations. Who knows if it would eventually engage in genocide such as Nazi Germany, who viewed every other culture as incorrect. There would be constant war because they think their way is right. Not to say that they wouldn't be capable of winning every time based on the fact that everyone in the society is brought up to do anything for it, but war is never good.
