The poem" I love, you love", or in Spanish " Amo, Amas", is a poem by the Nicaraguan poet Ruben Dario. It
             exhorts the reader to love with all his being and even more. It's ,also, a simple two verse poem full of metaphors.
             In the poem, the speaker expresses his strong emotions toward the theme of loving someone. Most of the lines
             command the reader to love with all being, all earth, and all sky. It's funny to think that the sky and earth are big in
             proportion with a human being. Some metaphors for example suggesting loving with the clear of the sun and with the dark
             of mud evoke great precision in feeling. The loving Dario personified in his speaker is with all desire. Imagine how many
             In the second verse, the lines 5-6 reveal how the speaker feels when the mountain of life gets big, long, high,
             and full of abyss. He feels love is the solution or the help to life's suffering. In the last line, the speaker reveals how love
             makes him feel love as a burning sensation between another person, men or women. It seems as a poem about two lovers.
             The number of verses is two. What a coincidence! The rhyme scheme is ABAB CDCD, and the pairs AB and CD repeat. Two
             In the process of translation from Spanish to English, the first verse was easily translated because it had mostly
             simple words like sky, earth, love, being, mud, all, dark, clear, etc. The second verse has words like abyss , which is more
             advanced. The process of translation was basically word to word.
             This poem commanding to love has some possibilities be about two lovers, gay or straight. The clear and dark
             seem to represent good vs. bad. Maybe, it suggests love and relationships which include how we are not perfect. Ruben
             Dario demonstrates an ability to remember people about how great love is.
