How to Change oil

             In order for your Nissan 240SX to last longer, it is very important to change oil every three thousand miles. With twenty dollars, thirty minutes of your time, and some tools you can change your own oil. Technically you can change any car's oil, but it's important to check manufacture's specifications. To change oil on a 91 Nissan 240SX you will need to follow these steps below.
             You will need the following items (located at most auto part stores):
             • Small oil filter strap removal tool
             • 4 quarts of 10w30 synthetic motor oil (mobile 1 is best in my opinion)
             • Filter (K&N HP1003 is the best in my opinion)
             • 14 millimeter open-box wrench
             Follow these steps .If you encounter any problems please consult your owner's manual:
             1. Locate your oil filter. (On a 91 Nissan 240SX it will be on the right side of the motor, right under the intake manifold).
             2. Place the jack to lift the car on a safe jack point. Position the jack so that the oil filter is easily accessible. If you are having trouble locating a safe jack point, your owner's manual will show you a diagram of all safe jack points. This is important because you can crush the underneath of your car, making it unsafe to work under the vehicle.
             3. Place the oil dump-catch bucket underneath the oil-pan right beneath the oil-drain plug.
             4. Using the small filter strap removal tool remove the oil filter. This part is kind of messy so I hope you have some old clothes on.
             5. Using the 14 millimeter open-box wrench, remove the oil-drain plug.
             6. Open the oil cap that is located on top of the motor usually marked "Oil". In order to drain all of the old oil out, make sure the vehicle is leveled. If you have to lower the jack please do so.
