Science religion controversy

             We are living human beings, one species out of a million others that exist simultaneously on this planet. Life is something that has been a mystery to us higher beings since the beginning of our existence. Are we merely living beings, or do we have an afterlife existence? The precision of the biological process incorporated into our existence is baffling. Is there a soul? Where do morals come into play? When could we say that there is a living human being, at conception, at birth, or after the first trimester?
             Are we merely living beings or do we have a life after existence? This is a highly controversial question, and one can only answer for themselves especially in a classroom full of students with a scientific take on life. Many people have a problem learning about science and hearing about our existence from a scientific point of view if they have been brought up knowing nothing more that a biblical standpoint. Personally I am the opposite. I grew up with knowledge in science and a small knowledge of the bible. The older I have grown the larger my knowledge of science has grown. When one has an understanding of how the human body works and how the environment works all together it is hard to fathom how one does not have a belief in a creator or higher power whom ever it may be. Do we have a life after death? I believe we do, my knowledge of science has brought me to a belief in God hence a belief in an afterlife.
             As humans we live day to day with this driving force in our heads to be moral. What is it in us that tells us what's wrong? Morality is something that we as humans are born with which leads one to believe that we do have something called a soul. A Soul gives us morals, it enables us feel love for life and others. Is there life beyond our physical functions? Sure, our physical functions are merely mechanical, but our reasons for our good actions, and feelings of shame when we do something wro...
