School was almost out. And i was having a horiible day, week in fact. Just a week left and it would be summer vacation. I couldn't wait for the last day to be over with; no more teachers, no more elementary school, and a lot more sleep. It was a normal day, and I took the bus home from school and arrived at my house at about 3 o' clock. I needed a haircut and therefore needed to be driven to my aunt's house, because she doubles as the family's hairstylist outside of her job at the salon. When my mom walked in from work, I almost immediately asked her if we could go there. She agreed and we were soon both driving down the road in her small, gold-colored Saturn. My aunt Joanne lived in Syracuse, so in order for us to get there we would have to drive past Onondaga Lake and enjoy the nauseating fumes as we did. We were listening to Power 106 .9 on the radio and during the middle of a song, the host of the station announced that there would be the "Power Car" driving somewhere in-and-around Onondaga Lake handing out concert tickets, and that's just where we were headed. I was on the look out for it, as we neared the lake. I quickly spotted it spinning in circles with a police siren on at the Heid's parking lot. I pointed to where it was and my mom hesitantly turned into the parking lot, I could tell she didn't want to do it. We were the first one there! We won! A person in the car gave us 2 tickets to the Lil' Bow Wow concert, for that Saturday. My mom, not being the rap fanatic of the family, opted out and let my brother and I go to the concert.
Three days later, I found myself at the Landmark Theatre, anxiously waiting to go inside for about an hour, standing behind two million people doing the same as I was; anxiously waiting to take my seat inside the haunted theatre, while standing behind 2 million people.
